Australian songwriter Michael Larkings’ third solo project (his second full studio album), ‘OPTIMYSTICISM’, is a collection of nine memorable songs, some tinged with sadness, some bursting with joy, some smirking with dark ‘tongue in cheek’ humour and some with serious, intimate introspection. Recorded by Michael during 2022 at The House Studio (Haberfield) and produced by Michael Carpenter, ‘OPTIMYSTICISM’ was released in 2023.
