Sydney songwriter Michael Larkings’ fifth solo project (his third album), ‘WELCOME TO THE WORLD’, comprises ten memorable songs, encompassing a variety of emotions and music genres, from driving, swaggering Alternative Rock and catchy Country ballads to haunting, sensitive Singer-Songwriter styles. It’s a fresh, adventure of infectious rhythms, colourful melodies, evocative thoughts, delivered with his trademark lyrical dexterity. All songs were recorded and engineered by Michael in his Miranda studio, with additional contribution and co-production by Michael Carpenter in The House Studio (Strathfield).  

‘WELCOME TO THE WORLD’ is dedicated to Opal, his newly born granddaughter.
